Position Overview:
Achieve or exceed sales quota in the assigned territory.

Solid understanding of mass spectrometry and the markets it is sold: pharma/biopharma, food, academic, clinical, forensic, environmental.

Identify new customers and nurture existing ones, as well as manage key customers in the territory by interpreting the customer’s needs and identify/propose SCIEX product solutions.

Grow prospects and funnel and provide timely and accurate forecasting into Salesforce.com.

Partnering within the territory with other internal partners like service and applications, to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Attend and represent SCIEX in support local technical industry trade shows.

Position Requirements:
Candidate must be located in the greater Toronto, ON, area.

Bachelor’s degree in a science major plus a minimum of 3 -5 years of successful capital equipment sales experience preferred.

Experienced with the tender process and CFI!

Must travel routinely within territory to customer accounts, and quarterly/annual sales meetings at various locations.

Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills, while possessing a willingness to take ownership for results.
