Post-Doctoral Scholar in Proteomics

We are seeking a post-doctoral position in proteomics and mass spectrometry under the supervision of Dr. Scott Stanley and Dr. Abigail Burrows. The primary research focus of our group is the development of the Equine Biological Passport.  The purpose of the Biological Passport project is to identify and characterize protein and peptide biomarkers related to particular drug administration in racehorses.

Our lab is equipped with the latest Thermo Scientific instrumentation (Altis, Orbitrap Exploris 480, RSLC Nano, Vanquish Horizon) and utilize many different acquisition methodologies including DDA, DIA, MRM, PRM.  We are seeking a skilled individual who is interested in gaining knowledge in mass spectrometry, proteomics, and data analysis.  Dr. Stanley additionally manages our routine small molecule analytical lab.  This position provides great exposure to industry collaborators as well as exposure to managing a service laboratory.
